Atlanta. A city of wonder and prosperity. A place where countless arts and cultures have flocked over the past several years. Where a movie is being filmed on every corner, and the next “it” kid in music is just seconds away from breaking into the industry. And towering over all of these wonders are a series of skyscrapers and structures that will take your breathe away.

Atlanta is known for its high-quality architectural design and its mesmerizing structures. From the king and queen skyscrapers on Interstate 285 to the Sovereign on Peachtree Road, Atlanta is full of incredibly crafted buildings and structures. And while it would be impossible to speak in detail on each one, we tried our best to narrow down our list to a select few that we think you would like.

The High Museum Of Art

Located in northern Midtown, The High Museum of Art is one of Atlanta’s most influential and well-known buildings. Initially founded in 1905, the museum was first known as the Atlanta Art Association. This transformed into the High Museum in 1926. Today, the museum holds more than eighteen thousand works of art in its personal collection. This makes the museum one of the most extensive in the country. The art inside is not the only astonishing thing about the museum. The breathtaking white buildings of the museum are known for their complex and fascinating looks. The exterior of this well-regarded museum was carefully crafted by two noted architects Richard Meier and Renzo Piano.

The Fox Theatre

This one is for all those broadway fans out there. The Fox Theatre has been a prominent staple for Atlanta since 1929. Known for both plays and concerts, The Fox Theatre has entertained thousands since the dawn of its creation, offering entertainment for anyone who enjoys a good show. Located on 660 Peachtree St NE, The Fox Theatre has captivated the citizens of Atlanta with infamous shows such as Glengarry Glen Ross, Chicago, and even the popular Hamilton. When you’re in the mood for entertainment and a great show, look no further than the influential Fox Theatre.
